Two-step sign-in

Open the authenticator app on your phone and enter the 6-digit code shown for GHi Submittals.

Set up two-step sign-in

Your account needs a code from your phone each time you sign in. This setup is a one-time thing.

On your phone, open an authenticator app. If you don't have one, install Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator (free) from the App Store or Google Play.
In the app, tap + (or "Add account", then "Scan a QR code") and point the camera at this:

In the app choose "Enter a setup key". Account name: . Key: . Type: time based.

3. Type the 6-digit code the app now shows for GHi Submittals

Two-step sign-in is on. Now save these 10 recovery codes. If you lose your phone, each code gets you in once. Keep them somewhere safe that is not your phone: print them or save the file. They are not shown again.
